🛡️ Weekly Populace Meetings
When: Every Wednesday, 6:00–9:00 PM
Who Can Attend: Everyone! These gatherings are free and open to the public — no membership required.
Populace meetings are a great way to meet others, learn about the SCA, and see what we’re all about. Depending on the week, activities may include:
- Fighter Practice
- Arts & Sciences Classes
- Business Meetings (Curia)
Come as you are and join in at your own pace!
⚔️ Fighter Practice – Try Medieval Combat!
New Location (Indoors Starting October 1st):
NKC CrossFit, 727 NE 76th St, Gladstone, MO 64118
Time: Begins at 6:30 PM (please arrive early to help set up)
Interested in armored combat or swordplay? We offer beginner-friendly lessons and loaner gear — perfect if you’re just getting started.
🔔 New fighters: Please contact the Marshal at least 24 hours in advance so we can prepare equipment for you.
🧷 You’ll need to bring your own knee pads and groin protection.
🏛️ Curia – Baronial Business Meetings
When: Second Sunday of the month, 7:00 PM
Format: Hybrid – join online via Google Meet or attend in person

🎓 Classes – Learn Something New
We offer Arts & Sciences classes on a variety of topics! Past classes include embroidery, medieval cooking, and web tools for SCA officers.

Note: Archery is paused for the season and will resume in the spring.

Join our Roll of Arms project — we’re creating individual pennants for members’ heraldic devices!
Bring your own project or just come to hang out and learn.
